First, I’d like to congratulate my good friends, Lee and Rachel on their beautiful island wedding and to new adventures.
I recently returned from St. John, USVI and it was fabulous! While I was there I stayed at the eco-resort Estate Concordia, the sister campus to Maho Bay Camps.
This campus is composed of eco-tent and studios that are a mix of comfort and beautiful vistas. Each tent can house 5 people and have a great lofted area. The bathroom and shower are separate and are environmentally conscious.
Each tent is set up into the mountain and there are great views from each tent as well as ample privacy from your neighbors. The staff are extremely helpful with snorkeling advice and best options for what to do each day.
I had the opportunity to meet with Rosanne Ramos Lloyd, MID, who owns her own design firm, Inclusion By Design, and works with Estate Concordia to better the eco-resort in the realm of inclusivity and mindfulness for all tourists who want to experience this beautiful island.
More in my next blog about RISD’s connection to Estate Concordia!
